Cameras
Digital cameras are used on all types of robots. The images are normally presented to the controller as a stream of low resolution RGB two dimensionasl arrays.
The processing of digital images requires sophisticated software running on a fast controller, and is often sent by RF (radio) to a bigger processor, such as a PC for processing.
