A Rover robot is a robot that moves about on wheels, and often looks like a tank or a car.
The robot is designed with several wheels on each side. There can be six wheels, or more often four. THere may also be a six wheel rover with tracks around all wheels on a side. The robot will have a controller mounted on it's back, and sensors on the front and maybe sides too.
The robot will be given the task of navigating an environment, all the while avoiding obstacles. The rover robot is also a good candidate for mounting a robotic arm. A good controller must be used here, as it will be reading sensors, moving the robot, and also controlling the arm.
The rover will have a controller which will determine it's movements depending on the job at hand, and the obstacles.
